Our Morning Offering – 17 April

Our Morning Offering – 17 April

by St Francis de Sales (Doctor of the Church)

Lord, I am Yours,
and I must belong to no one but You.
My soul is Yours,
and must live only by You.
My will is Yours,
and must love only for You.
I must love You as my first cause,
since I am from You.
I must love You as my end and rest,
since I am for You.
I must love You more than my own being,
since my being subsists by You.
I must love You more than myself,
since I am all Yours and all in You.

Passionate Catholic. Being Catholic is a way of life - a love affair both with God and Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, our most Blessed and Beloved Virgin Mother Mary and the Church. "Religion must be like the air we breathe..."- St John Bosco Prayer is what the world needs combined with the example of our lives which testify to the Light of Christ. This site will mainly concentrate on Daily Prayers, Novenas and the Memorials and Feast Days of our friends in Heaven, the Saints who went before us and the great blessings the Church provides in our Catholic Monthly Devotions. This is a papal fidelity site. Loyal and Obedient to the Current Pope and to the Magisterium United With Him.

    1. Dear Jack for some reason (I have no idea why!) you words have all come through garbled and I have struggled to understand. I think I understand the main focus of what you are saying and I thank you.
My mission is merely to grow in the Faith myself through the rich mysteries and beauty of the Catholic faith.
In the process, I hope to be able to help others do the same. You seem to find the content appropriate and you seem to appreciate it, for which I give thanks to God.
Could you perhaps re-write and explain again?
      And God bless you jack!

    1. I have no idea how to go about this Alice but I have encountered sites where one simply cannot use “copy/paste” so it must be possible. Sorry!
